Authentic Spanish Paella cooked the traditional way. Born in Madrid and then migrating to Australia Juan grew up watching his father make Paella as a child. The tradition was continued along the Peninsula foreshore with lazy days spent swimming, fishing and cooking paella. All enjoyed with family and friends accompanied by vino and followed by a siesta under a tea tree.

Let us cater your next function with popular, tasteful and fresh paellas cooked on site amongst your guests to add atmosphere to the event. Paellas can be designed around your diet and taste requirements so talk to us about menu options to enhance your event.

Furthermore it is a slow cooked, single pot format done the authentic way to bring out all the superb flavours of the ingredients. Talk to us about your full catering needs. We can do Tapas as an entree, paella as a main meal with or without salads, then followed by some sweets. We also do Sangria.

All Paellas are Gluten Free. We only use free range chickens, and local seafood (when available).

Catering can be done in all weather conditions, lunch or dinner. Available for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, or any other family or corporate event.

We bring all cooking equipment, utensils and ingredients. No power or gas facilities required. We clean up after preparing your tasty paellas, leaving you and your guests free to enjoy with the event with no work required on your behalf.

  • Our Paella night was a huge success and a different and novel way to entertain with great food and great friends. Cooked in front of us to perfection using the freshest ingredients including fresh flat-head Juan had caught that morning. The takeaway disposable boxes were an ingenious and fuss free way to eat(and very much appreciated when it came time to clean). After Paella our guests still found room for the delicious sweet treats Juan also supplied, the eclairs, vanilla slices, lemon tarts and berry cheesecakes were devoured. Peninsula Paellas was the perfect way to celebrate our fifty festivities.

  • Peninsula Paellas catered our glorious wedding day,we could not have been more impressed and satisfied. Juan organized tapas to start with and the garlic chilly prawns he cooked up are still being talked about. He then proceeded in cooking two large paella pans in front of our guests in which they felt part of the process as they slowly simmered away, our guests felt involved as they watched, drank, laughed and occasionally helping stir the pans. The paella was stacked with prawns,fish,calamari and was spectacular to see it all come together. We had had so many requests for Juans services since our wedding. Many thanks for making our day such a memorable experience Juan,we have so many happy photos with our guests enjoying your magical Paella.
